What’s New at CSR?

HIYAAAA!!! Welcome to Cosmetic Science Review, or as we like to say CSR! Have you noticed the updates to the platform in recent months? Before we get into the changes though, please note that CSR focuses on exploring the science and safety behind the cosmetics we often use without a second thought. Our ultimate goal is to empower consumers to be more mindful and aware of the effects of cosmetics on their overall health as well as the environment. In addition to this we want to provide you with alternatives and brands that align with your ideals. It is important that we as consumers know the most about our products because of their long term health effects. Many products are created with ingredients that haven’t been tested for human safety. In our previous article titled “Fragrances: The Good, the Bad and the DIY” we discuss phthalates in fragrances -these are compounds that essentially make plastics more durable and can be found in almost anything from  toys to vinyl flooring to packaging and even polish. Phthalates have been linked to asthma/other respiratory issues, migraines, nausea, skin and eye irritation and much more.

Across our social media platforms (Fb/IG/Twitter) we are prioritizing daily content for quick updates. You can catch up on daily inspiration quotes, quick clips as well as the full videos from our #BeautyBeyondSkinDeep live streams where we discuss important topics covered in the CSR blog page. Stay connected across our social media to get the latest updates and live stream notices., and if you like the content, do share with your friends on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter!

Be sure to catch the new articles on the CSR blog as well as exciting new features for our cosmetics producers and service providers.
